The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt from 5' end[nt according to published sequence]): BamHI--15, 256 [297, 538]; SacII--33 [315]; StuI--308 [590]; NcoI--388 [670]; HindIII--850 [1132]. Gives a strong hybridization signal with genomic EcoRI fragments of 7 and 3.5 kb. Extends from nt 283 to nt 2005 of the published sequence. It does not include the complete coding region, but it does include the complete region which is conserved among uracil-DNA glycosylases. Oriented such that transcription from the T7 promoter gives the sense strand. |
