Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.1, 3.3; PstI--6.2, 1.35; HindIII--3.7, 2.0, 1.75; BamHI--3.3, 2.65, 1.85; PstI/BamHI--2.65, 1.85, 1.35, 1.3. The probe encodes the complete coding sequence of the long form of M-CSF (CSF1). Depositor recommends R2 broth + 50 ug/ml ampicillin. R2 is 2X Luria broth with 1% NaCl and without glucose [1 liter distilled water, 20.0 g Tryptone, 10.0 g yeast extract, 10.0 g NaCl]. |
