Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.7, 0.2; HindIII--2.9; PstI--2.9; SacI--2.9; BamHI--2.9. Detects a single human genomic EcoRI fragment of 2.7 kb, even at low stringency, and does not cross-hybridize to rodent sequences. Consists of 130 nt of the published sequence (nt 4351 to 4480) followed by an additional 70 nt (unpublished) and an EcoRI linker at the 3' end. Subcloned from the EcoRI fragment at the 3' end of lambdaint5.1. Contains a portion of the 3' untranslated region. |
